This BLOOMS HYDRANGEAS series is inspired by my time in France and the extraordinary colours of the hydrangeas to be found in La Foret du Temple in the Limousin region in summer where I teach French Art School. They are really something else! Inspirational!

This choice of reference to paint from has a choice of dusky denim blue to acqua and turquoise hydrangeas with hints of pale blue, cerulean, hints of lemon yellows and deep ultramarine.
