What if I can’t make the live session?
Don’t worry it will be recorded and shared with you in our members area to do at your pace.
Additionally you are welcome to attend the MAGNIFICENT Blooms Live Online workshop session which takes place Tuesday
Or enjoy the recorded Live workshop sessions which will be posted to our members area for your enjoyment at leisure.
A Blooms Review session will be arrange about one month after the live session to give you all time to submit your paintings. Once again the recording will be made available in the Members area.

FAQ’s answered
1. How does the teaching work online?
All material is available to access straight away when you sign up for the MAGNIFICENT MAGNOLIAS. The info is provided in a series of demonstration videos so its very easy to understand. We take it a step at a time.
Attending the BLOOMS ZOOM LIVE is optional and the recording will also be posted alongside the videos which already shows the entire painting process.
In the BLOOMS ZOOM for the Magnificent Magnolias we do part of the painting together, including the paint handling, colour mixing and first stage of the painting. Access this at your own pace if you like. You can later play the videos over and over to learn from and support your painting journey.
The BLOOMS ZOOM session is about as long as a one day blooms painting workshop. Stay for as little or as long as you like. The session includes live demos followed by your practical application. I get to see your work and provide support and tips.
We have a private Facebook page especially for the Magnificent Magnolias students where paintings are reviewed and you can ask for help.
2. Can I do the Magnificent Magnolias Course in Oils?
It’s up to you if you like oils and already work with them if you prefer to do the Magnificent Magnolias with oils. I also love oils.
However this is a class specialising in teaching paint handling for acrylics.
I don’t wish to confuse the information I provide for acrylics with an oils conversation as I teach oils a little differently and I believe teaching oils is a separate exercise requiring 100 percent attention.
As I have many new students for this sort of class I don’t wish to confuse them by partially teaching oils in an acrylic painting workshop.
So yes you can use oils but I won’t offer instruction or solutions to issues that may come up for you if you choose to paint oils as this is an acrylic workshop.
3. What if I change my mind?
Access is provided to all materials at booking and places are limited therefore we don’t provide any refunds. We had 100 percent satisfaction on the last BLOOMS LIVE ONLINE lesson for the Paris Rose.
4. How much time do I have to do the Blooms Magnificent Magnolias?
We promise at least 18 months access to the Magnificent Magnolias material in the private Members area and Facebook
5. How long would it take to paint the Magnificent Magnolia Dyptich?
The painting of the Dyptich will take about two days if you are a beginner. A weekend is perfect or split it up into stages and work for 2-4 hours at a time in your own time. Do what works for you!
The bonus magnolia e-lesson will take less than one day. And you may enjoy that as a warm-up.
6. How do I access the private group page?
In your welcome email we send you the link to join our private group page where you can safely share your paintings and receive lots of encouraging support. It takes less than a day to be approved and welcomed. Only students of the Magnificent Magnolias may be a member of the group.
7. How big is the MAGNIFICENT MAGNOLIAS painting?
The painting is a DYPTICH made of two single canvases of 16 x 20 inch each.
The combined area of the two canvases is 20 x 32 inches and if you prefer you can get one canvas to that size.
The BONUS Magnolias painting has a single blooms and is 16 x 20 inches.
8. Do I need any fancy equipment?
I have designed this class to be affordable in art supplies and there is no need for any expensive art equipment. The canvas size is easy to find, and there are 6 colours we use for the painting. A full list of materials is supplied in the e-lesson
9. What if I have never drawn before?
No need to worry because I provide a solution for that I the form of a Blooms Painting Template. You will get all your proportions in without issue.
10.Is this class repeated in your How to Paint Blooms 52 week program or Blooms Masterclass Program?
This is new material and not repeated elsewhere. The reference comes from a visit to the LOS ANGELES flower market in early 2020.
11.Will you do another BLOOMS ZOOM?
I will do just one LIVE Blooms Zoom and post the recording for everyone to enjoy. I will do one for the Northern Hemisphere and one for the Southern Hemisphere. If you miss it simply watch it in the members area. One month alter I will invite everyone enrolled in for a paintings review session on ZOOM
