What’s in the Blooms Oil Painting Program?
First up, let me introduce you to oils and the language of oils which can be as simple or as complex as you like. I start out simple so we can get going with the painting and add more layers of info as we go.
Start with the BLOOMS OIL PAINTING LICENCE.
Work through the video shorts as we learn what oil paints do and how they behave, what to use with them and what to expect. These practical short lessons will take about 90 minutes to do and you will know what to do with oils after my training!

LEARN 3 ways to use oil paints for Blooms painting as I demonstrate 3 of these paintings. Do 3 paintings or do 6 paintings!
These are the stunning Blooms references I have chosen for the warm-up paintings shown as artists impressions as yet to be painted up however this gives you an idea of how luscious the paintings will be. They include roses, peonies and tulips.
My new program is designed to teach 3 ways of using oil paints effectively derived from my 30 plus years as a successful selling artist and global art teacher.
We begin with 3 easy to paint warm up compositions. There are 6 to paint, which cover;
• Water-based oils using 6 colours
• Traditional oils using 9 colours
• Working with acrylics and oils in the one painting- (that’s right! No need to throw the acrylics out just yet!)
The intro sessions are supplied as full video sequences you can start straight away and include fab BLOOMS photo reference. We get together in the live zooms to see how you are going and even paint together in those sessions.

After our warm-up painting series, choose your preferred way to use the oils for BLOOMS, as we start our BIG BLOOMS PAINTING of elegant and romantic Pierre de Ronsard roses with two paintings to choose from. The Big Blooms Oils paintings includes;
